3mm Silver Ball Stud Earrings

Rubber Ball
by Linda Landry
(c) 2003

OK, this well tell on me. Bobby Vinton was my teenage idol.
So, now you know. I am an oldie but goodie. Bobby Vinton sang
the song 'Rubber Ball' and said he would 'come back to you' like a
rubber ball; bouncie, bouncie. True love as reflected in the sixties.

Since the Internet has taken over, many of the words we use daily
have taken on a new meaning (ie: web, net, spiders, mouse, spam and link).
The word bounce has become a bad omen for publishers as often times
we accept a new sub and offer fr'eebies like ad placement and software
only to find out that our mailings are not being received. Such a pity as
this is not good business for the publisher; advertiser/subscriber or the
current subscriber base.

What's a pubbie to do? It is in our best interest to serve the interactive
subscriber base. The viable alternative to a bouncing addy is to delete.
The bouncing addy does not serve the recipient; the subscriber base
or the publisher. The publisher is dedicated to serving their interactive
subs who are ready willing and able to promote their online biz opps.
Isn't that what you were planning to do when you placed an ad and
accepted a subscription? So remember, your bouncing addy does not
return to you like a rubber ball, it returns to the publisher who may be
relentless and delete your addy and your advert whether paid or fr'ee.
In this case we all loose.
